Our organization

In charge of the production, transport and distribution of water in the capital, Eau de Paris was born in 2009 from the political will of the City of Paris for integrated, direct and public water management.

A transparent management model

First public water company in France, Eau de Paris has chosen a transparent management model that reflects civil society, so that Parisians can express their vision and have permanent access to all data related to water management in Paris.

The Eau de Paris Board of Directors is thus made up of elected officials from the municipality, employee representatives and associations for the defense of consumers and the environment.

Paris Water Governance works in close collaboration with the Paris Water Observatory (OPE), a participatory forum for information, consultation and debate created in 2008 by the City of Paris. The OPE notably brings together representatives of users, elected officials of the City, researchers and academics who are kept informed of major decisions on water management in Paris and issue advisory opinions. . One of its members sits on the Eau de Paris Board of Directors, with a deliberative vote.

Industrial excellence, our core business, with a heritage maintained at the highest level and guaranteed water quality over the long term. The ecological transition, our conviction. We will combine within a global strategy, response to climate change and protection of natural resources by aiming for carbon neutrality by 2030. The progress of the company, our future, we will continue our modernization and will always invent new ways of working. These axes will be broken down into service projects as close as possible to us in six years. With Eaurizon 2026, we are going to express all our skills.
